8 days to go and summer is officially over. (sigh) No more late night parties, sleeping,watching tv. No more bumming.Ill surely miss this.

This will be my last year as a high school student. Last year to have fun with my good old friends. Last year to meet new high school friends. And yes, this will be my last year to make things right in high school (Yes, I need to study harder and no more slacking) and in a few months I am going to take a lot of college entrance exam.(Study harder) I’ll make this last school year worth and the best of all.

And yes, that means I will be busy at school and I cant update my site everyday. Maybe I’ll update it every week.

Im currently watching the replay of Ms. Universe 2007. This year is the best Ms. Universe yet. (well at least for me) I really love the choreography and everything, from the stage design to the judges, the host and of course, the contestants.

Ms. Japan/Ms. Universe – Riyo Mori: she’s one lucky girl. I would love to win. Hahaha (so that I could live a glamorous life)

Ms. Korea- Honey Lee : oh my, she’s so pretty and she’s a black belter

Ms. Philippines- Ms. Anna Theresa Licaros: beauty and brains plus she’s Ms. Photogenic

Ms. Brazil – I forgot her name : I like her answer, she’s so smart

Ms. USA- Rachel Smith-: haha ) she’s cute. She’s like Miriam Quiambao

Ms. Thailand- she’s so pretty

Ms. India- I like the way she looks. Her face isnt the typical Indian

RIYO MORI
MISS UNIVERSE® 2007

What started as her grandmother’s premonition became a reality for Riyo Mori on May 28th, 2007. At the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, the Japanese beauty was crowned Miss Universe 2007 at the age of 20.

A self-described “modern-day female samurai,” Riyo prides herself on having a great sense of independence and self, “the traditional samurai spirit prizes composure, patience and a sense of justice. It is someone who fearlessly faces challenges with a strong will.” Riyo definitely embodies an independent woman. By the age of 16, she left her home in Shizuoka, Japan to study abroad in Canada, eventually reaching New York at 19 years old. Through her travels and studies, Riyo has been able to master adapting to different environments, the importance of learning foreign languages and the need for intercultural understanding. When her host guardian in Canada was suffering from hearing loss, Riyo learned American Sign Language to communicate. This experience eventually led her to volunteer with Deaf children, working on art activities.

A dancer and performer since the age of four, Riyo has spent most of her life focused on her craft. Her mother runs a dance school in their hometown, where Riyo first discovered her passion. She was literally surrounded by dance, where classes were held on the bottom level of their house. It wasn’t long before she was traveling the world in pursuit of her career. Riyo studied at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, the Radio City Rockettes’ Summer Intensive and was also accepted to the Broadway Dance Center in New York, but ultimately turned down the offer when she realized she made it to the finals of Miss Japan. “Everything was prepared; I even had an apartment in New York. But having the chance to become Miss Universe was beyond any dream. I had to do it.”

With the title of Miss Universe now under her belt, Riyo is as determined as ever. She aspires to become the first Japanese Radio City Rockette and will eventually open an international dance school in Tokyo, Japan. “My mother taught me that women can have it all. You donít have to choose between having a family or career, you can do both.” Riyo intends on spreading this message of empowerment and independence to women all over the world, just as her mother has for her.

Riyo is also excited to start championing the official causes of MISS UNIVERSE®, which include increasing HIV/AIDS awareness by focusing on womenís health and reproductive issues and forging relationships with organizations committed to research and education, including the Latino Commission on AIDS, Global Health Council and Godís Love We Deliver.

Today’s the birthday of my sister, Francesca! I miss them!!Right now, Im YM-ing her.

Yesterday, Julie,Therese, Christine and I went to school to submit our UPCAT form #2. (CJ didnt submit it yesterday, I think she went to school a while ago) and we had a hard time answering and filling out the application form. (we even approached our guidance counselor just to make sure) Then T-ann and I went to MSA to check the result of my dry run exam. Then went to LSC because Julie’s going to enroll there. While waiting for Julie, Christine and I went to National to buy folder/envelope for our upcat forms. I bought 2 (I know I should not have bought the other one) then went to Jollibee and CJ bought a soda

We went to Greenhills afterwards, window shopped, ate lunch at Grilla, played at TimeZone (btw, I got a pencil case), window shopping again and bought a DVD.Grr. I was fooled by the vendor.He told me that complete na daw yung episodes dun sa season. I hate those kind of people.

Anyway,after that we went to Julie’s crib. Magic Sing! haha ) it was fun. We also ate ice cream. Julie’s Bro, Rom is so cute and he is so funny. Haha )

Okay, that ends yesterday. haha )

Today, I watched One Tree Hill (3 am in the morning) then went to bed and woke up at around 1pm. Then ate my breakfast/lunch,watched Project Runway (Jeffrey Sabella won. I also like Uli’s designs) and The Search for The Next Doll (Ugh. I hate Asia. Melissa should be the winner, not Asia- I really hate her) . Haha )

I miss them

Mom,Dad,Cheska and Erika left for Saudi a few hours ago. I’m gonna miss them so much. I know that there are times that I am not at my best, but still I love them. There’s no one to talk to here in our house and Im too lazy to clean my room. (Btw, my room is a bit messy). I managed not to drop a single tear while saying goodbye. ( I dont want them to know im crying). But I think they knew that I cried. Oh well,I am lonely again. I dont want to go to school. Well, summer is finally over.I am really looking forward for the summer next year. Hope that next year would be a blast . I also hope that this school year will be the best one since this is my last year in high school.

Mom,Dad,Cheska,Erika: I know they wont be able to read this but I want them to know that I am sorry and I love them so much, and I miss them. I promise that I’ll study harder.

I cant believe that I’m already in 4th year and I cant believe I’m going to college next school year!! I’m excited, but I’m still not sure what course I am going to take.

Note to self: Start saving money for my Europe trip. (hehe) and for my shopping spree

Argh! I forgot to watch 3 episodes of One Tree Hill. I must buy the DVD SOON.

I need inspiration. I want to write but I cant find inspiration. I need one. I’ll read more books, maybe I’ll find more inspiration and because I dont know what will I write here.

I ask my mom ( a while ago) if she could buy me Zara, Topshop for Kate Moss, Debenhams etc. clothes, chanel perfume and bags and she told me she’s going to buy me. Yey!!

New Hair

I went to the salon a while ago with mom,dad,bro and erika. Had a haircut. Im loving my new hair. My hair is Victoria Beckam-ish/Victoria Beckham inspired. My new hairstyle is way better than the old ones. My hair is short but it is chic.

Im lonely. My parents and 2 sisters are going to leave this sunday na.I’ll miss them.I want them to stay here pa. I should not have fought with my sister (Cheska) before. Im gonna miss them soo much.

Btw, I got 3 free movie tickets for the movie Meet The Robinsons. Haha ) Im so happy

Ugh, I wish Im taller. A lot of people think Im a kid. FYI : Im already 16 and Im in 4th year high school.

I need to save more money . I want to buy more clothes.

Ms. Japan was crowned Miss Universe 2007. Yey! Im so happy for her. Thank God, an Asian won. Although Ms. Anna Theresa Licaros didnt win Ms. Universe, I am still proud of her for winning Ms. Photogenic. (btw, i just found out that Ms. Licaros is a teacher at Expert Guides)

Moving on, I am still undecided. I dont know what course I am going to take for college.

Ive been wanting to act and model since I was a little kid. I want to be an actress. I know Ill never be a model because I am too small for my age (hey, i am only 5″) but im still hoping.My cousins and I used to imitate those people we see on tv and I used to play dress ups.Last night, I read an article in Teen Vogue about people who want to be famous. Jeniffer Hudson, for instance.She was eliminated in American Idol but that didn’t stop her from doing what she wants. Now, she’s an academy award winning actress and she’s the cover of Vogue(I forgot what issue). Acting has been my passion since I dont know when. Acting is my only talent. I know I want to be an actress. I want to live a glamorous life. Ive never been on the spotlight. I joined a theatre guild in our school but Im not happy there because I dont have any close friends there. *im about to quit* but whatever. Acting will always remain as my passion. “Someday, I’ll be BIG” I’ll be glamorous someday.. SOON. Who knows, someday, I’ll be an Oscar Winner. and a supermodel. Or maybe I’ll be a Tony award winning actress(though Im not gifted with a good singing voice) Haha )

Julie and I went to school a while ago to pay for my transcript and to get her UP application. (Btw, I got mine before) . So yeah, after that, Julie and I went to Gateway,window shopped and then went to Starbucks. I bought Caramel Frappuccino ( I should not have bought one. Haha )) then came T-ann . Yeah, so we talked about stuff and our “future” we waited for Christine there too.Then ate lunch at Shakey’s and window shopped too. haha ) twas super fun hanging out with them. Ill miss this.

3 of my loved ones celebrated their birthdays this week(Dessa,Abbie and Kim) . I didnt go to Dess’ party because my parents didnt allow me.It sucks. Haha. Last Tuesday, our family went to Nueva Ecija and Pampanga. After that, I went to Abbie’s fun party and yeah I got drunk and I slept at her crib too. (I cant go home drunk) Haha ) The next day, yesterday, we went to Kim’s party. It was okay. haha )

School’s just 2 or 3 weeks away. I still don’t want to go to school. But I don’t want to be stuck here bumming. I have to do something productive. Im not yet finish answering/filling out the UPCAT form and the deadline is on June 15!! I must study. Haha ) im too lazy to study.

Friday: twas the last day of our MSA review classes. First, we had our dry run and whoa. It was really hard. Especially Math. Since I didnt eat breakfast,it was hard answering the questions while your stomach is empty. Then came lunch, first we(me,dessa,karen,kate,keiko,truds) went to Mcdo, but there were alot of people there so we went to shakeys instead. Went back to MSA and yeah, we were late, so we had a different classroom and i didnt see him. Our classroom was like a detention class because the room is super small and super cold. Super FUN. I met new friends!! haha ) took a lot of pictures. After that,went to Eastwood with Karen,Dessa,Truds. I had fun!!

Im so stupid. I let him go. I missed the opportunity. Now I wont see him again na.
